Quality Director (Technical Specialist)
Site based role, commutable from Plymouth, Ivybridge, Saltash, Tavistock, Callington, Liskeard and surrounding areas.
Overview
This role is for a Quality Director, Manager, Lead, or similar from a Manufacturing or Engineering background, looking for a highly autonomous position within a global specialist manufacturer. You will benefit from working for a global leader in the industry, driving and improving the company's quality strategy and performance across the site.
Responsibilities
* Implement a quality strategy to strengthen culture and standards.
* Lead, manage, train, and develop the quality team.
* Ensure product quality conforms to specifications, standards, and customer expectations.
* Oversee quality assurance, quality systems, and product quality teams.
* Work closely with commercial and manufacturing functions to qualify products and improve standards and capabilities.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Quality Director / Head of Quality / Quality Manager.
* Engineering or Manufacturing background.
* Experience with companywide strategy deployment to drive a quality, right-first-time culture and a highly technical position.
