Overview
As part of our Ecommerce leadership team, you’ll shape and deliver the trading proposition across all Ecommerce platforms, including our website and partners such as Uber Eats, Just Eat, Deliveroo and Amazon.
Responsibilities
- Shape our Ecommerce proposition across owned and partner platforms, ensuring it delivers against commercial and customer goals.
- Plan and deliver promotions and messaging that drive sales, increase basket size and optimise margin.
- Own customer performance metrics, such as conversion rate and web satisfaction scores.
- Work closely with our media agency to maximise monetisation opportunities across our platforms.
- Ensure work is aligned with wider Co‑op marketing activity, so our messaging is consistent and impactful.
- Lead, support and develop your team, managing 4 direct reports and a wider team of 13 colleagues.
- Contribute to the wider quick commerce leadership team, helping shape the future of our Ecommerce offer.
Requirements
- Strong eCommerce experience in a similar role within an FMCG retail or trading environment.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally in a large, complex organisation.
- Knack for balancing long‑term strategy with short‑term trading priorities.
- Experience of leading and developing teams, creating a positive and high‑performing environment.
- Confidence to cooperate at senior level, contributing to leadership conversations and influencing direction.
