We’re looking for a proactive, organised and forward‑thinking Recruitment Co‑ordinator to join our Recruitment Team within People Services, and play a key role in shaping the future of recruitment across the organisation.

Expert recruitment administration for real‑world results.

As a Recruitment Co‑ordinator, you’ll be the backbone of our recruitment operations—ensuring managers, candidates and colleagues receive a high‑quality, seamless experience from start to finish.

You’ll support a fast‑paced recruitment service while playing an active role in redesigning how we work. This means you won’t just be following existing processes—you’ll be helping to build new ones. Working with and supporting Recruitment Business Partners in wider project work across the recruitment transformation – gaining exposure to new and exciting recruitment procedures and activities.


What you'll get to do:

You’ll help ensure our recruitment is legally compliant — supporting tasks such as Right to Work checks, DBS processing, references and accurate record‑keeping and will use the Applicant Tracking System (Jobtrain) every day to update records, manage workflows and provide system support to hiring managers.

* Manage job postings across internal and external platforms.
* Screen applications for completeness and escalates to recruiters as needed.
* Support interview planning, assessments, and coordinate logistics.
* Prepare offer letters and assist with pre‑employment checks.
* Maintain recruitment data and generate reports for HR metrics.
* Support onboarding processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Act as the first point of contact for candidate queries.
* Support recruitment business partners with mailbox management, candidate queries, system maintenance
* Efficient and timely handling of incoming telephone queries.
* Involvement in team meetings/note taking.

Create clear processes and procedures

You’ll take responsibility for shaping and documenting effective processes for your own role—making work more consistent, efficient and easy to follow.

Review and refine administrative work across the team

You’ll help us understand what tasks add the most value and where improvements can be made—bringing clarity to how the team works day to day.

Identify gaps and improve how we do things

Whether it’s spotting where communication can be smoother, where delays occur, or where digital tools could help, you’ll be encouraged to highlight opportunities for improvement.

Take initiative and implement solutions

We want someone who doesn’t wait to be told what needs fixing—someone excited to trial new ideas, create templates, streamline steps, and support us in building a recruitment service we’re proud of.


What you’ll bring:

* An understanding of the end‑to‑end recruitment process / lifecycle.
* Experience in HR or Recruitment administration with particular knowledge of employment terms and conditions.
* Understanding of pre‑employment checks, including right to work and wider compliance & onboarding.
* Organised, detail‑focused and confident managing multiple tasks in a high‑volume environment with tight turnaround times/deadlines.
* Capable of improving processes and creating structure.
* Communicates clearly and builds positive working relationships.
* The initiative to find problems and develop solutions.
* Committed to delivering an excellent service to candidates and colleagues.
* An understanding of candidate attraction / job board or LinkedIn usage.
