Pay and Package
* £23 per hour for the first 39 hours per week (£46,644 per annum)
* Overtime paid at time and a half (typical earnings could be up to around £60,000 depending on travel and workload)
* Paid travel time; company van provided; 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 28 days
* Employer pension contribution of 6 %; company paid health cash plan; death in service cover, one times annual salary
* All hotels paid when working away; £30 per night food allowance when staying away
Overview
This role sits within a specialist engineering business supplying equipment into the clean and waste water sector. The position involves commissioning, servicing and supporting chemical dosing and treatment systems installed at client sites across the UK. The role is site based for approximately 75 % of the time, with the remaining time spent in the workshop or on local projects. Working away from home is a regular part of the role, typically Monday to Friday, with 25 % UK travel.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include:
* Commissioning and fault‑finding on chemical dosing and treatment systems (MCC and related equipment)
* Maintaining service schedules and providing on‑site support across client sites
* Coordinating with the workshop team for maintenance and parts preparation
* Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and quality procedures
* Traveling to client sites within the UK as required
Qualifications (Essential Experience and Qualifications)
* Proven experience within water treatment, chemical dosing or a closely related process environment
* Strong electrical background with supporting mechanical knowledge
