Overview
Electrical Design Engineer – Inverurie (Office-Based). £45,000 – £50,200 per annum. Full-Time, Permanent. UK right of work is required.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing, developing, and validating electrical engineering solutions for complex systems.
* Leading small to medium-sized design projects with support from senior engineers.
* Preparing and reviewing technical documentation including drawings, manuals, and reports.
* Participating in design and contract reviews, ensuring commercial and technical alignment.
* Supporting factory acceptance testing, site installations, and commissioning activities.
* Managing engineering change processes and maintaining accurate project records.
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience in electrical design engineering, ideally within a regulated industry.
* Proficiency in Eplan and Autodesk Inventor.
* Strong knowledge of IEC Standards, EU Directives, CE Marking, ATEX, and IECEx.
* Familiarity with ISO9001, PLM/PDM systems, and 3D CAD tools.
* Experience with electromechanical systems and modern manufacturing practices.
