Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Stirling/Fife

To support their growth, they are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team.
Position Overview: As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery projects. Working closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors, you will assist in managing the cost and financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation of tender and contract documents.
2. Support the procurement process by obtaining competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
3. Aid in the preparation and analysis of costings for tenders.
4. Assist in the management of project budgets, monitoring costs and reporting any deviations.
5. Collaborate with the project team to ensure financial goals are met.
6. Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and resolve any cost-related issues.
7. Assist in preparing and submitting valuations and final accounts.
Qualifications and Experience:
8. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
9. Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is desirable.
10. Strong analytical and numerical skills.
11. Proficient in the use of relevant software and tools.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
