ERP & Project Systems Specialist
Charcoalblue is seeking a forward‑thinking ERP & Project Systems Specialist to shape, embed, and continuously improve our ERP and project systems ecosystem. The role will suit someone passionate about data, automation, and project delivery within the Architecture, Engineering, and Design Consultancy space.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will lead the ongoing evolution of our ERP ecosystem (Deltek Vantagepoint), working in close partnership with business leaders and system users.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary internal support for Deltek Vantagepoint, ensuring it reflects our operating model and is used consistently across regions.
* Proactively identify opportunities for automation and integration with other tools (CRM, HRIS).
* Specify and implement ERP processes and automations to streamline routine tasks, data entry, and resource forecasting.
* Manage ERP upgrades, system configurations, and user permissions with a focus on scalability.
* Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real‑time visibility into project health, financial performance, and global resourcing.
* Partner with business unit leaders to interpret data patterns and provide insights that support strategic decision‑making.
* Ensure data integrity through periodic audits, maintaining high standards and ISO:9001 compliance.
* Provide high‑level support for system queries, fostering user accountability and data ownership.
* Develop training materials and step‑by‑step guides for users across global regions.
* Collaborate with the People team to support Deltek Talent, ensuring seamless integration between HR and project data.
Qualifications and Key Skills
* 1+ years of experience in an ERP Coordinator, Analyst, or Support role. Direct experience with Deltek VantagePoint is highly desirable.
* Understanding of data visualisation using tools such such as Power BI.
* Ability to work independently and as part of local and global teams.
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.
* Strong communication skills, bridging the gap between technical data and creative project needs.
* Experience in project‑based consultancy environments and understanding of project/resource life cycles.
* Digital and systems literacy, including data cleansing and SQL.
* Interest in Agentic AI and modern automation approaches.
* Ability to work across functions with a range of internal stakeholders in a facilitative, collaborative role.
* Experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Design Studio environments is a significant advantage.
Employment Details
* Permanent, full‑time role with a 40‑hour week, flexible between 8am and 8pm Monday‑Friday.
* Three‑month probationary period.
* Hybrid model: home‑working with regular studio collaboration in London or Bristol.
* Annual leave: unlimited days, with a minimum of 20 days per year (prorated for part‑time).
* Salary range: £32,500 - £42,500 per annum.
