Project Administrator

Permanent, (37.5 hours)

Competitive Salary plus benefits

Nelson BB9 - Office Based


As our Planning Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient organisation of our field service crews, enabling seamless project rollouts and maximising on-site productivity. You will be responsible for scheduling work, coordinating logistics, and tracking project progress, playing a key role in our operational success.


More about the role:

Desktop Surveys

* Review and assess proposed locations using online tools to determine access requirements.
* Gather and compile relevant site information to support field crews.

Scheduling/Routing

* Plan out each crews work for the week taking into account all information captured at the desktop survey stage, for up to 6 crews each week.
* Identify and request necessary stock to ensure teams have the required resources.
* Communicate planned work with clients and coordinate joint site visits when needed.
* Contact customers on private properties to arrange appointments.
* Liaising with Traffic Management providers where necessary to request quotes, plans and permits.
* Open and close Traffic Management permits to ensure regulatory compliance and avoid penalties.

Data Collection and Reporting

* Monitor visit outcomes, reschedule any aborted visits, and update project timelines.
* Provide accurate reports on visit success rates, planned vs. actual work, and overall project status status to the PMO manager each week.


What you'll need to bring:

* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Adaptability and problem-solving mindset.
* Tenacity and resilience with a positive attitude towards change.
* Strong IT proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Planning and scheduling experience is a plus.
* High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
* A DBS check will be required due to the nature of the role.
* Right to work in the UK is essential.
* Full clean UK driving licence.
