We are now looking for an experienced Area Account Manager to support our Birmingham branch and the surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for someone with B2B sales experience who will manage our customer accounts in the region. Ideally, you will have field sales experience from the Electronic Security industry, however, we are keen to speak to candidates from Electrical Wholesale, Trade, and other similar industries.

This is a great opportunity for someone with B2B sales experience who will manage our customer accounts in the region. Ideally, you will have field sales experience from the Electronic Security industry, however, we are keen to speak to candidates from Electrical Wholesale, Trade, and other similar industries.
As an Area Account Manager, you will work closely with the Branches in your given area to drive revenue with several warm accounts. You will work with suppliers to deliver revenue growth and increased share of wallet with our customers to ensure an exceptional customer experience for all involved.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Maintain and develop business with existing customers in your area
2. Identifying and visiting potential new customers for new business.
3. Visit Customers
4. Sales promotion campaigns management and execution
5. Generate demand for ADI Global Distribution products through installers/distributors
6. Attend (trade shows, seminars, events)
7. To promote and increase sales by developing and managing relationships with existing key regional installation companies within a given territory.
8. To win new business from our competitors by building relationships with their key customers and to prospect and close new business or increased opportunities with current customers
9. To provide support to customers and the branch network to meet the company objectives in Sales, Profit, Margin improvement, and Service Quality
10. To be aware of innovations in the market through technical training regularly and attending product seminars
11. To engage fully with all periodic sales campaigns and strategies
YOU MUST HAVE:
12. You will be experienced within a field sales role or have equivalent experience
13. You will be experienced in a B2B sales environment
14. Initiative, drive, and enthusiasm
15. Excellent communication and people skills
16. Good planning and organisational skills
17. Driving license

20. Knowledge of the security industry is beneficial
21. An ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships

23. Excellent opening, negotiating, and closing skills.
