As the Senior Professional Practitioner leading the Staying Close agenda, you will drive a strong multi-disciplinary approach to enhance support for care-experienced young people aged 16 and above. Your work will directly contribute to their transition to independence, promoting stable accommodation and fostering positive relationships. In this pivotal role, you will: Lead a multi-disciplinary team of practitioners from local authority, health, and specialist support services. Engage and influence stakeholders to ensure effective partnership delivery. Oversee the Staying Close programme, ensuring compliance with grant funding from the Department for Education. Support service development and continuous improvement based on outcomes, data, and feedback. To thrive in this role, you should possess: A minimum of 2 years experience of managing contracts, undertaking quality audits or driving service improvements. Strong leadership skills. Experience of operating in a multi-agency environment. A sound knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to children and families.
