As a Band 7 Occupational Health Clinician, you will play a crucial role in our dynamic organisation. Advert In this role, you will deliver a high‑quality clinical nursing service, including pre‑employment screening, vaccinations, phlebotomy, health surveillance, and sickness absence assessments. You will deputise for the senior team when required, working with the People Directorate and supervising nursing staff. You will coordinate Trust‑wide vaccination and immunisation programmes, complete comprehensive assessments, and provide specialist advice to support staff wellbeing. You will analyse complex information, such as safeguarding concerns and blood results, and offer evidence‑based guidance on work‑related illness or injury. The role includes delivering sensitive information to managers, managing a busy workload, and leading wellbeing and training initiatives. You will provide first‑line counselling support, liaise with external agencies, and maintain secure, confidential health records. The postholder will keep up to date with best practice, contribute to policy and protocol development, and support audits for SEQOHS accreditation. Additional duties include managing local sickness and annual leave, ordering supplies, authorising payments, and undertaking other tasks as directed by the senior team.
