About the role
We are seeking a Lead Clinician to manage our in-house Clinical Team at Hillingdon Manor School, Middlesex. The postholder will collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Clinical Locality Lead, splitting responsibilities between clinical leadership and holding a therapy caseload. You will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex needs, including autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, and SEMH issues. Responsibilities include line management of the onsite clinical team and leading service development alongside SLT and the Clinical Locality Lead.
The role involves managing a therapy caseload with support from our clinical network and team, contributing to staff training and consultation. It requires a resilient, enthusiastic individual with a therapeutic approach, decision-making skills, workload management, and supervision capabilities. You will support the integration of clinical services into daily school operations, including assessments and clinical interventions. A key aspect is delivering wellbeing and clinical strategies to meet pupils’ needs in line with EHCPs.

Qualifications and Experience
* Masters or doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Educational, Forensic, or Counselling Psychology, or a recognized degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy
* Valid professional registration (e.g., HCPC, BPS)
* Experience working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs
* Strong report writing skills
* Experience supervising therapy teams
* Ability to work independently and within a growing clinical service
* Experience in multi-professional teamwork within the specialty (preferred)
* Proven leadership and management experience, capable of leading a large clinical team
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
