About the Role
Assistant Professor in Behavioural Science, 2025/26. The Behavioural Science Group is looking for an early‑career academic with world‑class research that has lasting international impact. The successful candidate will be ambitious, collegial, and capable of contributing to both research and teaching within the group and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and disseminate high‑impact research in behavioural science.
* Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in behavioural science.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues in psychology, economics, data science, and other disciplines.
* Participate in research seminars, labs, and professional development activities.
* Publish in top‑tier journals and present at international conferences.
Key Qualifications
* PhD in behavioural science or a related discipline.
* Post‑doctoral research experience preferred.
* Evidence of top‑level publications or strong working papers.
* Clear, ambitious research agenda.
* Demonstrated teaching ability in behavioural science an advantage.
* Specialisation in behavioural or experimental economics, the psychology of judgement and decision‑making, behavioural change, or the data science of human behaviour.
About the Department
The Behavioural Science Group is multidisciplinary, drawing from psychology, economics, data science and beyond. It uses laboratory, field, online experiments and large‑scale data to test and develop theory. It offers a vibrant research environment, weekly lab meetings, DR@W seminars, and links across the university.
