Clinical Coding Assistant

Responsibilities
* Work closely with the clinical coding team to collect case notes from various departments within the Trust.
* Obtain patient case notes from various areas to ensure episodes are coded within the monthly deadline.
* Locate notes and collaborate with the Health Records Library manager, medical secretaries, and ward clerks.
* Complete manual tasks and walk for approximately 4–5 hours per day.
Qualifications / Training
* Good General Education
* GCSE or equivalent pass in English, Maths and Science
Experience
* Experience of using Microsoft Windows, Word & Excel
* Previous NHS experience
