I am a UK-based mortgage broker seeking specialised admin support to help manage the increasing demands of my growing business

The Mortgage Admin Support plays a crucial role in assisting the mortgage broker with administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations within the financial services sector. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a basic understanding of financial concepts. The ideal candidate will support the processing of mortgage applications and maintain accurate records while providing exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, estate agents, solicitors, and lenders, ensuring effective communication and understanding of the mortgage process.

* Manage document checking and compliance to uphold high industry standards.

* Monitor the progress of each mortgage application, keeping clients informed at every stage to ensure a smooth and efficient completion.

* Schedule appointments and manage the broker's diary for new clients and ongoing cases.

* Prioritise tasks and plan ahead to maintain an organised workflow, ultimately enhancing the client journey.

Requirements:

* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong communication skills, with the flexibility to adjust your style when interacting with various stakeholders.

* Comfortable using digital communication tools to manage tasks and responsibilities remotely.

* Competent IT skills including Microsoft & AI tools with ability to learn & use lender portal

This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone eager to leverage their mortgage knowledge while assisting in the growth of a dynamic brokerage. You will play a crucial role in ensuring clients receive top-notch service throughout the mortgage process.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
