The business continues to grow and is now looking to add a Specification Technologist to their Technical team to support ongoing product development and compliance requirements.\n\nAs a Specification Technologist, you’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate specifications for retailer systems, ensuring products meet customer, legal, and company standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities Include:\n\n * Completing and updating retailer specifications using retailer portals (e.g. Tesco, Asda, M&S, etc.)\n\n * Managing artwork checks and packaging sign-off for compliance\n\n * Supporting the NPD team with new product launches and reformulations\n\n * Ensuring technical data (ingredients, allergens, nutrition, etc.) is correct and up to date\n\n * Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to gather accurate information\n\n * Ensuring compliance with food legislation and customer requirements\n\nWhat you'll need:\n\n * Previous experience in a specifications or technical role within the food industry\n\n * Strong understanding of retailer specification systems\n\n * Good knowledge of food labelling regulations, allergens, and nutritional information\n\n * High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills\n\n * Ability to work cross-functionally with NPD, Technical, and Supply Chain teams\n\nThis is a great opportunity for a proactive and detail-driven Specification Technologist to join a growing business with a strong presence in the UK food sector.\n\nApply now to take your next step as a Specification Technologist in a business that values technical accuracy, collaboration, and career development
