Due to continued expansion, they are now looking to strengthen their Newcastle workshop team with a skilled and motivated HGV Technician.
The Role As an HGV Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining fleet safety, reliability, and performance standards. Working on a range of premium commercial vehicles including Mercedes, Iveco, and Ford, your responsibilities will include:
: Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on HGVs and specialist vehicles
: Conducting routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections
: Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring DVSA compliance
: Completing all work to manufacturer and company standards
: Supporting workshop efficiency and minimising vehicle downtime
What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have:
: NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
: Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
: Strong diagnostic and fault:finding skills
: Class 1 or Class 2 licence preferred
: A positive attitude and strong work ethic
