Job Description – Shunter at Tibshelf Job Title: Shunter Department: Transport. Reports to: Contract Manager/Office Lead Role Overview: Looking after the trailer yard and any trailer at Tibshelf. Moving trailers into loading bay, strapping after loading and returning to trailer park. Key Role Responsibilities: Looking after the shunt vehicle including daily checks Daily trailer check Placing and taking off trailers from loading bays as requested Strapping of loads and checking load security VOR trailers as requested by site lead Control of trailer yard and keeping it clean and tidy. This list is not exhaustive and you may be required to undertake any other duties deemed appropriate by your manager to facilitate the smooth running that is reasonable of the remit of the role. Knowledge and Experience required: Shunting/CE experience desirable but training can be given to the right candidate.
