Overview
Warehouse/Stores Operative
Salary: Basic £25,750pa + Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate – paid on any hours worked after 40h. 25 days holiday a year plus statutory bank holidays and Christmas shutdown.
Shift information: Late Shift – Mon – Thurs 13:00-22:00 & Fri 11:00-20:00. Night Shift – Sun-Thurs 22:00-07:00 (Additional £15 per nightshift worked).
Location: Avonmouth, Bristol

Richard Austin Alloys Ltd deal in the storage and distribution of a large range of Stainless Steel and Aluminium products. Our head office is based in Glasgow and the business trades from 7 principal locations employing circa 350 staff with a group yearly turnover in excess of £200m.

Role Responsibilities
* Order picking in a safe & efficient manner
* Loading and unloading lorries
* Restocking
* General warehouse duties, including regular cleaning of work areas
* Using machinery (buzz saw, band saw)
We are currently recruiting for the following shifts only:
* Late Shift – Mon – Thurs 13:00-22:00
* Fri 11:00-20:00
Night Shift – Sun-Thurs 22:00-07:00 (Additional £15 per nightshift worked)
Essential/Desirable Skills
* Counterbalance FLT licence would be an advantage
* Good time keeping
* A willingness to learn
* Possess an excellent attitude
* Good attendance record
Forklift & warehouse training will be provided if needed.
