The Role: The company is seeking a Senior Project Planner to join their UK-based project team in Oxford. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in mechanical or process engineering planning, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Create, develop, and manage detailed project schedules across all phases: design, pre-construction, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning Support project managers in producing accurate, deliverable programme of works files Produce labour histograms and detailed progress reports for internal and external stakeholders Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks or delays early Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners Ensure adherence to planning procedures and company standards Assist in identifying project delays or claims and support demonstration for resolution Contribute to organisational growth through planning support on new and existing projects Candidate Profile: 5–7 years’ experience in a planning role within the construction industry, specifically in mechanical/process engineering Proficient in Primavera P6, Asta, and Microsoft Project Strong problem-solving and organisational skills Self-starter with the ability to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Confident in negotiation, scheduling, and time management Comfortable using the Microsoft 365 suite Why Apply?
