Employment Solicitor – 2+ PQE – Top 50 UK Law Firm
A leading UK law firm is seeking a talented Employment Solicitor to join its expanding London team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a Legal 500-recognised practice with a strong reputation for handling complex, high-value employment matters across a range of sectors including technology, life sciences, insurance, private wealth, and real estate investment.
The Role:
You’ll undertake a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work for a diverse commercial client base, including well-known names in the tech, engineering, and software sectors. The role also includes corporate support and outsourcing, offering exposure to cross-practice collaboration and strategic advisory work.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing Employment Tribunal claims (e.g. unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing)
* Advising on settlement agreements, including for senior executives
* Delivering high-quality, commercially focused legal advice
* Supporting corporate transactions and drafting employment documentation
* Conducting advocacy and delivering client training
1. The Ideal Candidate
Our client is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor with a least 2 years of experience working for a leading law firm in the city or nationally. Due to the nature of the role, the candidate must have covered elements of contentious and advisory employment work preferably representing the employer (or both).
