My exclusive PE backed client is the UK market leader Utilities Services provider in its field, with its HO and Central Finance function based in Newcastle-u-Lyme, Staffordshire, and operates through a nationwide depot network.

This new Group Management Accountant role has been created as part of the beefed up Central Finance team to support their ongoing profitable expansion.
\n\n
This will be a hybrid role with c 3 days/week based at the Newcastle-u-Lyme HO working within the close-knit cohesive Central Finance team.
\n\n
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this exciting career opportunity will have a strong focus on Business Analysis, FP&A and ongoing Systems development.
\n\n
Key responsibilities will include:
\n\n
\n\t
* Ensuring the preparation of timely and robust monthly and annual Group financial reports.
\n\t
* Create new models and automate reporting for analysing business performance - using a range of Excel, Power BI, ERP & FP&A tools.
\n\t
* Support commercial decision-making including Pricing, Margin Analysis, Customer Profitability and Cost Optimisation.
\n\t
* Support the annual Budget process and monthly/quarterly Forecast processes.
\n\t
* New Investment Appraisal and proactive input to various New Business Development initiatives.
\n\t
* Identify opportunities for Cost savings and efficiency improvements.
\n\t
* Stock/Inventory management and Group Capex control.
\n\t
* Cost allocations, accruals and revenue recognition to ensure accurate and meaningful assessment of local depot performance.
\n\n\n
Overall, this is seen as a key new role to support the Group's ongoing successful growth strategy and the successful candidate can expect strong promotion opportunities going forward.

Candidate profile:
\n\n
\n\t
* Qualified level (or high calibre QBE).
\n\t
* Strong Management Accounts experience with well developed Excel/BI systems and analytical skills.
\n\t
* Confident and self-assured with strong communication skills.
\n\n\n
