Start Date: Immediate Location: Ipswich About the Role: We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and dedicated Psychology/Sociology Teacher to join an Outstanding secondary school in Ipswich. This full-time position offers the chance to teach a range of students, from GCSE level, with the potential to teach A-Level for the right candidate. As a Psychology/Sociology Teacher, you will inspire and engage students with your subject expertise, promoting critical thinking and personal development. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Psychology and/or Sociology up to GCSE level, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for a qualified candidate. * Develop and implement lesson plans that foster a deep understanding of the subject matter, encouraging independent learning and critical thinking. * Provide constructive feedback to students, ensuring continuous improvement and academic success. * Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student participation and engagement. * Contribute to the department’s growth by suggesting ideas for curriculum development and extra-curricular activities. * Support the school’s ethos of excellence and inclusion, ensuring every student is given the tools to reach their full potential. * Safeguard students’ wellbeing and promote positive behaviour in line with school policies.
