Mudeford Community Infants School is seeking a Pastoral Leader. The working pattern is Monday - Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm, term time only (32.5 hours a week).
The start date is Thursday, 4 September.
This position will be paid on a BCP Band F SCP 12-17 (£14.36-£15.58), depending on experience. Pay award pending.

Pastoral Leader Main Job Purpose
* Provide pastoral support for all children, acting as a Key Worker for children with specific social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
* Work closely with class teachers and teaching assistants to personalise support for individual children and their families.
* Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and SENDCO to identify opportunities and prioritise support, including suggestions for school development in this area.
* Support parents regarding their children's welfare, including attendance, behaviour strategies, support with Home Learning, advice, and signposting.
* If appropriate, serve as the lead professional at TAF meetings.
* Assist in organizing visits from professionals and agencies such as the school nurse and Early Help.
* Be a deputy designated safeguarding lead.
