Lecturer in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering – Deeside
Coleg Cambria is recruiting a Lecturer in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering to deliver our Further and Higher Education courses at Deeside. The college values a positive work environment, ongoing development, and a commitment to equality and safeguarding.

Responsibilities
* Deliver practical and classroom-based learning to students.
* Develop delivery and assessment materials related to Higher Education and Further Education courses.
* Support learners to develop skills in engineering subjects such as maintenance of mechanical systems, turning, milling, bench fitting, business management, project management, mathematics, communications, and manufacturing techniques.
* Be flexible to adapt to the varied demands of the position and build effective relationships with learners and staff.
* Support learners with additional learning needs where applicable.
* Demonstrate a positive approach to challenging behaviours and management of groups of learners.
* Undertake training to help develop the department’s offer as required.
Essential Requirements
* Qualified to a minimum of Level 6 (or equivalent) in a professionally relevant subject area.
* A minimum of a Level 6 teaching qualification (e.g., Cert Ed/PGCE) or be working towards one.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Self-motivated, well-organised and able to work independently using own initiative.
* Aware of the importance of quality standards within teaching.
Desirable
Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
