A top-tier law firm is seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Commercial Property Solicitor to join its dynamic Real Estate team in Edinburgh. This is a unique opportunity for a Newly Qualified to 3 years’ PQE solicitor to gain exposure to high-quality commercial property work within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
The Role:
You will handle a broad spectrum of commercial real estate matters including:
Investment transactions – sales and acquisitions of diverse asset types
Commercial leasing for both landlords and occupiers
Asset management work across various sectors
Owner/occupier transactions
You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision, engage directly with clients, and work closely with experienced partners and colleagues on complex deals.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have:
Some experience or training in commercial property law
Strong drafting, communication, and time management skills
A proactive and collaborative approach
A genuine interest in real estate, with an appetite to learn and develop
Exposure to property matters in the energy sector (desirable but not essential)
Key Attributes:
Sound legal and technical knowledge with the ability to identify issues and seek guidance where needed
Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset
