Location: Brooklands Nursing Home, 10 Newry Road, Kilkeel

We have a vacancy for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Conway Group Healthcare in Brooklands Kilkeel.

If you are already experienced in caring for others and leading shifts to ensure Residents are provided with choice, dignity and an environment where they are treated as an individual; you could have what it takes to become our Senior Care Assistant

About The Role

Your New Role:

Providing leadership and support for the Care Team, acting as a role model for good practice in relation to all aspects of Residents dignity and safety.
Assisting our Residents in all aspects of their daily life, personal care, meal preparation and general domestic support.
Ensuring clear and accurate records and communicating systems relating to clinical / care delivery are properly maintained.
Making a real difference to our Residents lives.

About You

Our ideal candidate is already experienced in caring for others.
Flexible in their approach and great at building a rapport with everyone they deal with.
They inspire professionalism and cope with difficult situations using tact and taking responsibility.
The enjoy working with people and sharing information / ideas, that's how they raise standards.

If you have these attributes and can naturally strike up a conversation and engage with all types of people, this is the job for you

This role is based in a 9 bedded Dementia Residential Unit.
