About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Partnerships Accounts Executive to join our Commercial team. This role plays a pivotal part in managing the delivery of sponsorships and racedays across Aintree and Haydock Park Racecourses and assigned group Partners. You will be responsible for achieving the Partnerships budget renewing and growing existing clients while supporting with Partnerships sales.

The Partnerships Accounts Executive will
* Effectively manage and grow relationships with existing local sponsors.
* Support the Partnerships Account Manager on the delivery of partners and manage accounts as and when assigned.
* Manage all elements of activation for local sponsors, with the support of the Partnership Account Manager where required
* Deliver a best-in-class service to clients, ensuring all rights are delivered and their objectives are achieved.
* Collaborate effectively with the wider team, ensuring efficient and effective account management from contract stage to post-event reports.
* Maintain up-to-date CRM records and ensure efficient processing of purchase orders, invoices and contractual documentation.
* Assist with organising and hosting Partnerships events as required.
* Ensure the requirements of local sponsors and assigned Group Partners are successfully delivered at each raceday, attending them as necessary to ensure the highest level of customer service.
* Arrange and attend meetings with local sponsors and assigned Group Partners before and after events.
* Effectively manage admin practices with regards to all aspects of delivering racedays, taking responsibility for branding allocations, hospitality requirements, invoicing, ticket distribution, race conditions and trophies.
* Liaise with external signage contractors and agencies with regards to branding requirements.
* Prepare post event reports as required and share photos with sponsors promptly after each raceday.
* Achieve and exceed the Partnerships budget by identifying future sales opportunities and renewing, growing and selling local sponsorships.
* Maintain an accurate and up to date knowledge of the current financial position, ensuring the Partnership Sales team are aware of all opportunities and support the development of a strong pipeline of potential local sponsors and Partners.
* Manage low level local sponsorship enquiries and follow through to contract stage.
About you
* Demonstrated success in a sales environment, preferably in hospitality and/or sponsorship
* Understanding of sports industry and commercial landscape with experience of working in a commercial client facing environment
* Positive, can-do attitude to the workplace with a hands-on approach.

* Highly focused and organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Technically savvy with excellent written and oral communication skills
