As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success, we are seeking a dynamic Investigations Assistant to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Investigations Assistant to join our Security Operations Centre at Head Office.
In this role, you will support the Investigations Team by gathering, reviewing, and organising information related to both internal and external incidents. Key responsibilities include analysing CCTV footage, compiling relevant evidence, and preparing comprehensive investigation packs for review by senior colleagues.
This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who is organised, reliable, and confident working with CCTV systems and internal reporting tools.
Responsibilities:
1. Review reports and operational activity to identify trends, patterns, or anomalies that may indicate internal misconduct or external threats.
2. Review CCTV footage to locate and capture relevant events relating to incidents.
3. Prepare and organise investigation packs including CCTV clips, timelines, and supporting information.
4. Record findings clearly and accurately in internal reports.
5. Assist the Loss Prevention team by ensuring all relevant information is collected and organised before cases are passed on.
6. Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is stored correctly.
7. Handle all information in line with company confidentiality and data protection policies.
8. Provide general administrative support to the Security Operations Centre and Security and Loss Operations Manager when required.
9. Provide cover for other teams within the Security Operations Centre during periods of annual leave, sickness, or absence. This may involve supporting different functions and working alternative shifts, including occasional night shifts, where required.

Hours: Flexibility to work 12-hour day shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rota.
