We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in nurturing and developing young children in a nursery setting. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents, and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare. The Early Years Educator will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that fosters children's growth and development.
Duties
* Manage the daily activities of children in the nursery, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote learning through play.
* Communicate effectively with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team environment focused on best practices in early childhood education.
* Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for children and families.
Experience
* A background in childcare or early childhood education is essential, with experience working with young children highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and fellow educators.
* Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Familiarity with nursery settings and an understanding of the developmental needs of young children is advantageous.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing situations within the nursery environment.
