Essential Skills & Experience
* Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix (academic, personal, or commercial experience)
* Some experience with Java applications or middleware (development or support)
* Basic understanding of web services or APIs (REST or SOAP)
* Ability to write and run basic SQL queries and understand database concepts
* Interest in IT operations, service delivery, and learning enterprise systems
* Clear spoken and written English
Nice to Have (Not Required)
* Exposure to application servers or middleware (e.g. WebLogic, ESB, SOA, APIs)
* Familiarity with monitoring or logging tools (e.g. Splunk, Dynatrace)
* Basic scripting experience (Shell, Python, or similar)
* Knowledge of ITIL or service management concepts (training provided)
