Overview
Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal is a full-time position at South Lincs Vets, working across our Freiston and Sutterton branches. The role offers a varied and well-rounded caseload including general medical nursing for in-patients, management of referral cases (orthopaedics and soft tissue surgeries), and emergency care. You’ll also contribute in theatre, assist with Schedule 3 procedures, handle radiography, perform lab work, and take on consulting shifts. You will operate x-ray and CT scans and have access to multiparameter monitoring equipment.
Responsibilities
* Provide general medical nursing for in-patients
* Manage referral cases including orthopaedics and soft tissue surgeries
* Perform emergency care duties
* Assist in theatre and with Schedule 3 procedures
* Handle radiography and laboratory work
* Take on consulting shifts
* Operate x-ray and CT scans
* Utilise multiparameter monitoring equipment
Working hours
This is a full-time permanent role, 40 hours per week with a variety of shift patterns. You will be expected to work 1 in 5 Saturday mornings.
