Roles & Responsibilities
* Own and manage all vacuum heat‑treatment processes, ensuring compliance with AMS 2750, Nadcap, and internal quality standards.
* Lead process optimisation, improving cycle performance, yield, throughput, and repeatability.
* Analyse furnace data, thermal cycles, and deviations to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
* Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and support daily operations.
* Maintain and develop process documentation, SOPs, load maps, recipes, and pyrometry records.
* Support audits, customer visits, and technical investigations relating to heat‑treatment performance.
Qualifications
* Background in heat treatment, vacuum furnaces, brazing, or thermal processing.
* Understanding of materials/metallurgy or thermal cycles.
* Degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy (or similar).
* Strong problem‑solver who can analyse data and improve processes.
