Are you a creative, strategic thinker with a passion for community engagement and making a real difference? We’re looking for a dynamicMarketing & Events Managerto lead innovative marketing campaigns and deliver impactful events that bring our care homes to life.
About the Role:
As ourMarketing & Events Manager, you’ll take ownership of our marketing strategy and community-facing events across three care homes based in Hove, Horsham & Bexhill. You’ll help shape public perception, grow occupancy rates, and bring joy to our residents through thoughtful, inclusive, and engaging experiences. You’ll be the face of our homes—building lasting relationships, managing promotional activities, and ensuring our brand voice shines through every interaction. This role is based across all sites, with some working from home. Flexibility with working hours is required to attend events.
What you'll be doing:
Marketing & Communications
* Lead the marketing strategy to support 100% occupancy across all homes
* Design and deliver compelling digital and print campaigns (social media, newsletters, flyers, web)
* Build and protect a strong brand identity through consistent messaging and storytelling
* Act as the go-to person for PR and media opportunities
* Track market trends and maintain awareness of competitor positioning
Event Planning & Execution
* Develop and manage an annual calendar of vibrant events—from resident celebrations to open days and public community events
* Oversee event logistics, budgets, and supplier coordination
* Lead on-the-day delivery to ensure memorable, well-run experiences for all attendees
* Collect post-event feedback and apply learnings for future improvements
Community Engagement & Relationship Building
* Represent the homes at community groups and networking forums (e.g., Rotary, Lions, Chambers)
* Cultivate referral networks and partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, charities, and local businesses
* Act as a confident ambassador for our values, culture, and resident-centered approach
Occupancy & Administrative Support
* Collaborate with Home Managers on room allocation and occupancy reporting
* Maintain marketing budgets, financial logs, and performance metrics
* Uphold professional standards, ensuring compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and data protection
