* Influence senior stakeholders to ensure EA priorities are recognised by external enforcement agencies.
* Represent and support the wider organisation in improving ways of working and increasing understanding of POCA legislation; share lessons learned and advise enforcement officers nationwide.
* Contribute to technical documentation updates and provide guidance across the country.
Team and Context
* The ECU comprises two teams: Asset Denial and Money Laundering Investigations, including Financial Investigators, Financial Intelligence Officers, and Crime Analysts.
* The unit operates nationally and handles serious, complex criminality involving organised crime networks.
Experience and Skills Required
* Exceptional leadership skills, ideally with experience leading a dispersed team.
* Solid understanding of financial investigations and the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA).
* Experience working in the law enforcement sector and understanding of the National Intelligence Model.
* Strong communication skills, including delivering feedback, managing performance, and building relationships with external stakeholders.
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritise a varied workload, and identify areas for improvement to drive changes in working practices.
* Experience developing and enhancing the capability of a team and individuals within it.
Desirable and Additional Information
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners and to influence at senior levels.
* Commitment to flexible working patterns and inclusive practices, including disclosure of preferred working arrangements on application.
