Position: Full-time temporary Admin Officer
Location: Liverpool
Contract: until 10/03/26
Working Hours: 37 per week Mon-Fri
Pay rate: £13.69 per hour
Brook Street have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Admin Officer to join our public sector client based in Liverpool. This is a temporary assignment until 10/03/26 with a possibility of an extension. The role will be hybrid once trained.
Job description:
This is an administration role to support the team based in Redgrave Court, Bootle. Duties will include but not be limited to:
1. Assist the team with on-going workload (including FOI/EIR/DPA requests, Internal Reviews and Complaints).
2. Undertake administrative tasks including logging and triaging of correspondence/requests.
3. Identify, extract, collate, redact, and otherwise prepare for disclosure, information, including large and complex datasets.
4. Ensure good quality, accurate written responses are issued within statutory timescales.
5. Follow due process (administrative procedures and processes).
6. Effectively manage own caseload.
7. Identify and share lessons learned and any best practice/insights from having dealt with cases.
Requirements:
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Experience of Microsoft Office Packages.
10. Able to prioritise workloads.
11. Good time management skills.
12. Good decision-making ability.
13. Experience of applying FOI/EIR or DPA legislation would be an advantage.
14. FOI Practitioner certification desirable.
