Senior BI Manager – UKI Gaming
Join Flutter UK & Ireland to lead our new UKI Gaming Commercial BI team. The role is part of the wider UKI Business Intelligence department and will manage a team of two specialist analysts, providing multi‑brand analysis of our sports commercial performance across brands such as Sky Gaming, Paddy Power, Betfair, PokerStars, and Tombola.
What You’ll Do
* Cross‑brand commercial insights – undertake cross‑UKI analysis to answer strategic, multi‑brand commercial questions.
* UKI‑wide commercial performance – supervise day‑to‑day UKI‑wide commercial performance, highlighting opportunities and risks.
* Accountable to the LT – partner with the UKI LT, UKI Finance and UKI Strategy to answer commercial queries from the UKI LT, delivering priority insight for UKI Sport and high‑complexity analysis to LT level partners, including Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.
* Own UKI‑level reporting for sport – develop self‑serve reporting that allows internal partners to assess commercial metrics and trends in a multi‑brand format, ensuring accurate, comparable views of performance between brands.
* Complex analysis – support brand analysts with specialist, advanced analytical capabilities and act as escalation point for more complex approaches.
* Cultivate a commercial analytics community – coordinate regular collaboration and sharing sessions with the HoDs of Performance and their teams within the UKI gaming brands, identifying consistent themes across insights and elevating the understanding of the gaming customer at a cross‑brand level.
* Establish standard methodologies and common processes – work with the UKI Commercial Insights team and colleagues in Sky Betting & Gaming, Paddy Power, Betfair and Tombola to align insight processes, ensuring comparability across the division through newly established communities of practice.
* Deliver UKI BI strategic ambitions – take a lead role in delivering our UKI BI strategy working with the Head of Commercial BI.
* People leader – build a culture within your team that champions development and learning, empowering analysts to advance capabilities and be innovative in their approach to working practices, methodologies, outputs and tooling.
How You’ll Do It
* Strong technical experience in delivering analytics solutions (ideally using Looker and SQL).
* Skilled at condensing analysis into actionable insights to inform business decisions within the commercial teams and influence business performance.
* Find opportunities to drive enhancements in our analytical practices and drive positive change that advances our capabilities and outputs.
* Experience leading a team through strong communication skills, encouraging, empathising and supporting your team.
* Be highly collaborative and influential, leading multi‑functional working groups to deliver outcomes that require input from people outside of your direct remit.
