Job Purpose: To provide housing support for residents, delivering high-quality support to empower them to make positive changes and move towards independent living in the community.

7.00am - 7.00pm, Saturdays and Sundays

Main Responsibilities
* Provide support to residents and perform other housing duties.
* Induct residents into their accommodation, explaining terms and safety procedures.
* Follow the Resident Journey Policy and Guide for Housing staff.
* Work confidently alone and adhere to Lone-Working Policy.
* Offer trauma-informed support and participate in restorative practices.
* Support residents in funded beds, non-funded beds, and those seeking asylum, aiding their resettlement.
* Ensure safety at move-on properties, contacting on-call staff in emergencies.
* Understand fire safety and evacuation procedures.
* Follow the Resident Journey Programme (RJP) Policy and support the Housing Support Manager.
* Maintain house rules and adhere to housing policies.
* Recognize and facilitate partnership working to support residents.
* Safeguard adults, young people, and children at risk, following guidelines and reporting concerns appropriately.
* Keep accurate records using computerised data systems, providing reports as needed.
* Develop knowledge of welfare benefits.
* Perform additional tasks as required by management, including occasional weekend and evening work.
