Technical SEO & Platform Lead, Lifestyle brand, London, comp. salary
We’re hiring a Technical SEO & Platform Lead to take full ownership of organic performance for a fast-growing international ecommerce business.
Organic search drives real revenue here. This is not a reporting role. You own the systems.
You’ll be accountable for:
* Crawl efficiency & indexation quality
* Core Web Vitals stability
* SEO-safe releases
* Technical scalability
If traffic drops due to a preventable issue, you fix it.
What you’ll do:
* Own indexation, canonical logic, faceting & pagination
* Improve and monitor Core Web Vitals across templates
* Analyse Googlebot behaviour (log files where available)
* Implement structured data properly
* Proactively monitor anomalies and regressions
* Work directly in Shopify (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JS)
* Remove technical bloat and improve render performance
* Block risky releases when needed
Non-negotiables:
* Proven ownership of technical SEO for a revenue ecommerce site
* Hands-on Shopify experience
* Confident editing Liquid, HTML, CSS & JavaScript
* Delivered measurable CWV improvements through code
* Strong understanding of JS rendering & SEO
