An established legal practice in Walsall is looking to recruit a Legal Secretarial Assistant to provide dedicated administrative and secretarial support to the firm’s lawyers. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, professional and comfortable working in a busy legal environment where attention to detail and efficiency are key.
You will play an important role in helping lawyers manage their workload, maintain accurate documentation and ensure clients receive a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities
Providing administrative and secretarial support to lawyers
Managing diaries, appointments and meeting arrangements
Updating and maintaining files using the firm’s case management system
Preparing legal documents, correspondence and reports
Handling incoming calls and assisting with client enquiries
Opening, organising and maintaining client files and documentation
Assisting with preparation of court documents and general office administration
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in a legal secretarial or legal administrative role preferred
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Professional communication skills
Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems
