This position requires exceptional customer service skills and strong problem-solving abilities to provide effective technical support across hardware, software, and network systems. You will collaborate with colleagues and educators to resolve IT issues promptly, assist with installations and upgrades, and contribute to projects that drive innovation and improve IT services—helping shape a technology-driven learning environment for the future. What You’ll Be Doing As an IT Operations Technician you will: Deliver and manage high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment in Health within the Health & Care sector. Provide hands-on and theoretical instruction in specific areas, e.g., Mechanical Maintenance, CNC Operations. Support students' academic and personal growth, helping them achieve their full potential. Develop and implement lesson plans that connect classroom learning to real-world applications. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and address the needs of all students. Support student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression, providing guidance and tailored support. What We’re Looking For We seek candidates who: Grade C or above in Maths or English (or equivalent) – Essential. Relevant IT qualification at Level 2 – Essential. ITIL v3 Foundation or above – Desirable. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office 365. Familiarity with Audio Visual platforms and hardware. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. A passion for keeping up with the latest technology trends. What’s in it for you?
