About the Role
As a Construction Buyer, you will lead on short-term sourcing events and full end-to-end tenders within your allocated category. You'll work with internal stakeholders to define specifications and evaluation criteria, manage procurement milestones, and ensure compliance with internal and external governance requirements.
This is a fantastic opportunity to influence procurement strategy, manage supplier relationships, and support innovation through commercial excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the Category Manager in delivering the category strategy
2. Execute tenders, renewals, and commercial interventions
3. Influence internal stakeholders on procurement strategy, risk, and innovation
4. Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, performance, and contract extensions
