Health & Safety (H&S) Information Services Manager
The H&S Information Services Manager plays a vital role in ensuring NHS Blood and Transplant has access to clear, accurate and timely health and safety information. Leading the H&S information service, you will manage data, systems and people to support safe working across NHSBT. Acting as a key link between colleagues, senior managers and external partners, you will turn complex information into insight that drives better decisions, supports compliance and strengthens our health and safety culture nationwide.
Main duties of the job
* Lead and manage the Health & Safety information service across NHSBT.
* Analyse and report on health and safety data, KPIs and trends.
* Manage and develop the H&S intranet and information systems.
* Provide clear, timely information to managers, advisers and stakeholders.
* Oversee accident reporting systems and confidential data handling.
* Plan and coordinate H&S training provision nationally.
* Line manage H&S administrative staff and agency workers.
* Liaise with external training providers and professional bodies.
* Support development and review of H&S policies and procedures.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
* NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
* Evidence of ongoing Continued Professional Development.
Experience
* Experience delivering an effective support service across multiple sites.
* Strong ability to analyse, manage and present complex information.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Experience of first line management and prioritising workloads.
* Working knowledge of health and safety systems and policies.
