Responsibilities
* Perform custom layout and verification of analog circuits, cells, blocks, and IP for multi‑gigabit, high‑speed chip‑to‑chip communication links.
* Layout and verify very high‑speed analog circuits, ensuring robust and accurate designs.
* Collaborate closely with analog and mixed‑signal design teams to understand requirements and implement effective layout solutions.
* Support IP‑level and chip‑level integration activities, ensuring seamless functionality within larger systems.
* Interface with customers regarding requirements, deliverables, and IP integration support, while gaining exposure to advanced flip‑chip packaging technologies.
Requirements
* Strong experience in custom analog layout of circuits and blocks for multi‑gigabit serial data‑link transceivers or HF/RF circuits.
* Expertise in high‑speed/high‑frequency circuit layout, including amplifiers, oscillators, PLLs, DLLs, and building blocks such as biasing, buffers, regulators, filters, and data converters.
* Solid understanding of layout methodologies for high‑speed circuits, including matching constraints, parasitic minimization, power‑grid design, and ESD requirements.
* Experience with advanced semiconductor technologies (e.g., 28 nm, 14/16 nm, 7 nm) and hands‑on use of industry‑standard EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre/HSpice, Calibre/PVS, EM/IR‑drop analysis).
* Self‑motivated, strong communicator, team collaborator with a solid foundation in semiconductor physics and ability to manage workload and schedules effectively.
