Responsibilities
* Provide outpatient clinic care and elective theatre lists, including cystoscopy, new and follow‑up cases, transperitoneal biopsies, and Cancer MDT participation.
* Deliver a full range of core urological outpatient services and procedures.
* Take full and independent responsibility for patient care, including daytime and out‑of‑hours emergency urological coverage shared with six other consultant urologists.
* Investigate and manage core urological conditions, including cancer, and perform laparoscopic nephrectomies and endo‑urology procedures.
* Serve as an active member of the uro‑oncology local MDT.
* Provide clinical leadership for the surgical firm and deliver education and training for medical students, junior doctors and the wider clinical team.
Qualifications
* Broad clinical experience in Emergency Urological Surgery.
* Expertise in both emergency and elective urological problems within the specialty.
* Proficiency in core urological investigations and procedures.
* Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
* Commitment to teaching and training activities.
