Overview
General Services Nightshift Domestic/Porter role at NHS Scotland – Borders General Hospital Site. The successful candidate will join an excellent team of staff.
Responsibilities
* Work nightshift Monday to Sunday as required.
* Demonstrate a high level of competence in domestic activities and flexibility.
* Adhere to the NHS Borders Behavioural Framework.
Qualifications and requirements
* Competence in domestic activities, flexibility and knowledge of the NHS Borders Behavioural Framework.
* Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
* Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", appointment will be subject to joining the PVG Scheme. Details will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager or Recruitment Team.
* To work in the United Kingdom, you must have the relevant permission to work. NHS Scotland Boards will check entitlement to work in the UK as part of pre-employment checks.
* Potential sponsorship via a UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker Visa may be possible if the employer is a licensed Sponsor and the post meets salary requirements; further information will be provided if applicable.
