We are recruiting a CDP for a prestigious Golf Club in RH18, traditional members' club located in the heart of Ashdown Forest. With over 130 years of heritage, our courses—particularly the Old Course—are celebrated as classics with natural, untouched terrain and outstanding views. We pride ourselves not only on our golfing excellence but also on our high standards in hospitality and food service.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade. You will be responsible for cooking and supervising a section of the kitchen, ensuring consistent high-quality food preparation for members and guests, and helping to drive the kitchen's performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items to the club's standards.
* Manage your section of the kitchen efficiently and hygienically.
* Assist with developing and updating menus.
* Maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency.
* Supervise and train junior kitchen staff as required.
* Monitor food stock, control waste, and adhere to budgetary guidelines.
* Ensure all food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced kitchen, preferably in a golf club, hotel, or high-end venue.
* Strong technical skills across multiple kitchen sections (e.g. starters, mains, desserts).
* Good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.
* Strong team player with leadership potential.
* Flexible availability (including weekends and holidays) to match service needs.
