About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to work with a Main Contractor in Coventry. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction and civil engineering, who can support the successful delivery of works on site while ensuring quality, safety, and programme requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Setting out and surveying works in accordance with drawings and specifications
* Supporting the day-to-day delivery of civil engineering and construction works on site
* Ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical information to support site delivery
* Liaising with project managers, site managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
* Carrying out quality checks and ensuring work meets the required standards
* Maintaining accurate site records, including setting out data, as-built information, and daily reports
* Assisting with the preparation of RAMS, work packs, and technical documentation
* Monitoring progress on site and helping to ensure works are completed to programme
* Identifying and resolving technical issues as they arise on site
* Supporting health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across all works
Key Requirements
* Previous experience as a Site Engineer, Engineering Surveyor or similar within construction and civils
* Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, site processes, and technical drawings
* Experience in setting out and surveying using relevant equipment
* Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately
* CSCS card essential
* Full UK driving licence preferred
