We are currently recruiting a Team Member PM based at our Derby Site (DE65 6BG). The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 12:30 to 21:00. This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary of £26,280.07 plus an allowance of £832.00 (depending on experience).
Responsibilities
* As a warehouse Operative you will support the effective running of the warehouse operation in a multitude of tasks, including loading and unloading and operating a forklift truck.
* Safely load and unload products onto trailers, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to.
* Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to keep damage to a minimum.
* Complete relevant paperwork for loading and unloading activities.
* Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse.
* Use material handling equipment (MHE) to support operational processes.
* Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, taking appropriate action where procedures are not being adhered to or could be improved.
* Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, taking appropriate action to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
* Maintain and update site Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and working instructions.
* Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity.
Key requirements
* FLT licence – counterbalance, Reach and T20/30.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to withstand pressure and work to tight deadlines.
* Attention to detail.
* Previous WMS – SCALE knowledge advantageous.
