We are looking for an organised and motivated administrator to provide high-quality support to Social Care/ Early Help workers and managers within our service.

The Opportunity
In the role of Casework Support Officer, here’s an example of what you’ll be doing to make an impact:
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team, including handling enquiries by phone and email, preparing documents and maintaining accurate records.
• Use Liquidlogic to input, update and retrieve case information, ensuring data is accurate, timely and handled confidentially.
• Use Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel, to produce letters, reports, spreadsheets and maintain tracking systems.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information in line with Council policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, partners and members of the public, responding politely and professionally to enquiries.
• provide occasional reception cover to support service delivery as and when needed.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have…
• Recent administrative experience in a busy office environment.
• Previous experience in an administrative or customer support role, particularly within a local authority or public sector environment, is desirable but not essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to respond politely and patiently to service users
• Experience of working with Microsoft Office
